I Have A Fear Of Moths - Lord Kitchener Fingering - Bluefaced Leicester & mulberry silk

4 items left

The real Lord Kitchener had his face plastered on wartime posters exclaiming "Your Country Needs You." Well, your stash needs this yarn.

Credited with inventing the ingenious Kitchener Stitch (which still makes me want to swear because I fail to get it right without resorting to looking it up for a bajillionth time), this soft and lightweight yarn is in tribute to the guy who gave us a fancy way of joining our knitting.

It has silk, because who can resist a bit of sleek action?

It has Bluefaced Leicester which is a superior British wool from sheep who look like they have a good time. I mean, their fleeces look incredible and lustrous.

It's machine washable because let's face it, we live in a fast world and don't always want to be too vigilant about the laundry.

The epic stitch definition is crisp and defined and looks equally unworldly with lace stitches or cables.

The only decision to make is "which colourway?"
