We welcome Gemma to the Countess Ablaze studio on Saturday 8th October for a 1st birthday party trunk show. Here are Gemma's quick-fire answers:

  1. Describe your business in five words.

Stylish, modern knitting/crochet goods brand.

  1. Where do you create/sell?

All of my products are sold online, although I can sometimes be found at shows. All of my and created at home.

I have these shows in the diary for the rest of 2016;

9th Oct – Yarn Premiere, Hackney London

5-6th Nov – Yarnporium, Kings College, London

12th Nov – Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza Marketplace, Farnham

  1. How old is your business?

I am on the countdown to my first birthday and I do not know what happened to the last year it really has been a whirlwind.

  1. How would you describe your style/niche?

The Little Grey Girl was really born out of the fact I was struggling to find project bags in fabrics that I really loved that fit a more modern style.

  1. What's your favourite product that you sell?

It’s so hard to choose, I do love my new pyramid bags and these have become my bag of choice for travel knitting as I can just plonk them down and continue knitting away.

  1. What are you bringing to the trunk show?

As well as all of my products you can find on the website I will also be launching my birthday exclusives; a yarn dyed exclusively for TLGG by LJ of Rusty Ferret, a pyramid bag from exclusive fabric designed by Martine Ellis all designed with the same colour palette and just to top it off with a set of rubber stitch markers in colours that appear in the yarn and fabric, and I mustn't forget the birthday cake and prosecco of course :)

  1. What plans do you have for the future?

I have some exciting new products coming as well as a pile of new fabrics that are waiting to become bags. I have a lot of shows scheduled in and am already looking at plans for 2017.

  1. Where can we find you? (online/shows/shop, etc)

Best place to find my products are on my website
