Fancy making Engle by Caitlin Hunter // BOYLAND Knitworks?
We were asked to help with colour combos
We love fluffy yarn so when Alex asked us for help with a potential colour combination to knit a sweater, we were happy to break out the camera.
The pattern they wish to make is Engle by BOYLAND Knitworks, (link goes directly to the designer's website) a colourwork sweater requiring four colours of yarn, ideally alpaca. We stock the entire range of Fyberspates Cumulus.

With thistle
Thistle is a warm dusky pink and as much as I love it, there isn't much in the way of contrast between this as a background colour and the others.

With blush
Blush is a soft pale pink which would give a good contrast between the background and foreground.

WITH ICE
Ice is a pale icy blue which adds to the contrast. I'm on the fence with this one, part of me really loves it but wonders if it's too cool next to the warmer colours of Moonlight, Magenta and Rust.

WITH Early Grey
Early Grey has a great level of contrast next to the other yarns and I love the colour independently on its own. I do think it almost looks a little dirty next to the rest of the colours.
