October 23, 2016

Huzzah! You are invited to the Countess Ablaze Saturnalia Party on Saturday 10th December 2016 in the Manchester based studio from 3pm til late. This is THE party of the year.

Tickets are £20.00 per person (including VAT) and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Mustard Tree, a Manchester charity who supports the homeless and the marginalised.  20% of all sales that day will also be donated.

Buffet - wine - games - prizes - bring your hooks and needles! Come celebrate the end of the year the Roman way!

Where is the studio? We are in Swinton, Salford/Manchester.
For information about the studio, location, parking and accessibility, click here.
I have dietary requirements. No problem, just let us know in the notes section at the checkout. We are used to catering for extra requirements.
Will alcohol be provided? A small amount will be provided but you are most welcome to bring a bottle. There will be plenty of soft drinks plus tea and coffee.
Can I use a discount code when booking a ticket? We'd appreciate it if you didn't as we want every penny of the ticket sales (minus the VAT) to be donated to charity.
Will you send a ticket in the post? No we won't, your order confirmation will be your booking. Your name will go onto our guest list and we will email you a week or so before Saturnalia as a reminder.
I've bought a ticket and now I can't come. Can I get a refund? Places are limited and tickets are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your place. As this was a very popular event last year and we had a long waiting list, if you are unable to come please let us know as we may be able to sort out a refund if we can fill your space.
Didn't you have a Saturnalia party last year? Yes we did! It was a sell out with a long waiting list and we raised a brilliant £600 for Mustard Tree.
Can I bring children? As this is an alcohol rowdy affair, this is an adult only event. Last year was a risque affair that involved wig swapping and a lock-in. You have been warned!
What do I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable, whether that's a party dress, a jumper or a onesie. If you want to go all out with a toga, knock yourself out but Saturnalia was the Roman festivity of kicking back so togas were not worn. In fact, quite often very little was worn. However, if you come to the party in a state of total undress, the neighbours might talk...
I would like to offer a door prize. Can I? YES! We would love donations of door prizes to aid with the festivities. Last year, door prizes were in the form of chocolate hampers, yarn, stitch markers, knitting patterns, etc. Please use the contact form if you would like to donate. We warmly encourage small fibre arts businesses who are not attending Saturnalia to get involved.

Tickets will go live on SUNDAY 23RD OCTOBER at 7pm BST.
