Hey, good morning!
I'm afraid that this is the news you hoped wouldn't come but I've made the difficult decision to cancel our workshop and meet and greet event with Stephen West in September.
Everything has changed so rapidly this year and continuously changing, that it's difficult to make plans for the rest of the year. I've even made the decision to not open my studio to the public until very late in the year, if at all.
Right now as the UK is still in various stages of lockdown, and quarantine being introduced for anyone arriving in the UK, my studio not big enough to accommodate the social distancing of groups of 25 for teaching or greeting Stephen, even if the guidelines change to 1-metre social distancing instead, the reality is, I can't keep you safe.
After two weeks of risk assessments, tape measures and figuring out every game plan conceivable, (other venues, outdoor spaces) there is nothing that will work. We need to do what we can to keep Stephen and that creative brain safe, as well as my staff and you.
I'm truly sorry this is disappointing news that you won't meet our knitting idol this year in Manchester but I'm hoping in a post-pandemic world, we'll be able to invite him again. I'm looking forward to a time when we can all be together in each others company and we get the man himself in to show off all his lockdown brioche projects and to do that we need to be patient, follow the science and take our time.
So until then...
A refund shall shortly arrive in your PayPal account.
All my love to you and your loved ones. Stay safe and don't let anyone into your dance space.
