3 Years at our Current Studio | Countess Ablaze

Three years ago (February 6th), I got the keys to my Manchester city centre studio. The date was poignant for me as it was my mother's birthday and we'd barely spoken since I was 21.

Growing up she called me an "ugly duckling".
So I moved into a unit on Swan Street. 😉

Things I've learned over the past three years:
* I'm a masochist,
* to have thicker skin,
* that a team of the right people is just everything,
* that I can't please everyone,
* to survive on little sleep.

But what I have achieved far outweighs any negatives. There's an interview coming later this month and I finally talk about who I am, where I'm from, and what I used to do for a living, and all the stressors of now are nothing in comparison! Just being in our (mine and Blazin'Squad's) place of colour is instantly soothing for me and very much worth the grind.

Thank you to everyone who has visited us here over the past three years. 🖤

Rock on!
