April 12, 2015

Countess Ablaze will be appearing at Zifermarket (Facebook link) on Sunday 26th April 2015. Zifermarket is a new market held in Ziferblat on Edge Street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.

Ziferblat is the name for a new kind of social space; where everything is free except the time you spend there. They charge 5 pence per minute and all food and drink is free. The Countess will be there with an array of hand dyed yarns and a small selection of fibres for spinning and felting. This is a great opportunity as the Countess doesn't do the yarn festival circuit and there is no longer a LYS in Manchester city centre.

There won't be an Open Studio this Spring as originally planned as the studio is too small for the amount of people interested in coming. Hopefully appearing at the market will be an excellent substitute and you are more than welcome to hang around with your knitting needles and crochet hooks for as long as you like. The market takes place from 10am to 6pm.

There is also a knitting group at Ziferblat on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 8 pm, organised by Countess Ablaze and Katie Sutton. All fibre art voodoo is most welcome! You can find us on Facebook, Ravelry and Twitter too.
