I’m taking a few days off next week for a good old fashioned but short convalescence as I haven't been too well lately. The next postage day will be Monday 2nd June.
The next Twelve Caesars installment of Claudius will be next Friday on the 30th at 7pm UK time and by some miracle I’ve actually got it all dyed, dried and photographed a week ahead of schedule. So I’ll get the previews up on the blog as soon as I’m able. I may have gotten a little zealous with this one as there’s a massive 19 colourways. I actually think this is my best collection yet but I’ll see what you think!
The fibre bases are:
Pencil roving - BFL superwash
Pencil roving - grey Corriedale (this stuff is so beautiful you might need to fight me for it)
Baby Llama and Tussah Silk
Check out the new pattern by Stitchnerd which was inspired by a Caligula colourway and uses pencil roving, if you’d rather knit it than spin it: Cause for Envy ?.
I also promised some North Ronaldsay and Black Hebridean yarns last week so seeing as though I’ll be away, I’ll wait until next Friday for those.
Also, look out for a new KAL which is currently being organised for the Countess Ablaze Ravelry group which includes lots of prizes and some mosaic knitting. Moderator Sarcazm will make the announcement once all the fingers in the pies have been counted.
And I shall leave you with a little spoiler.
The real Lord Kitchener had his face plastered on wartime posters exclaiming "Your Country Needs You." Well, your stash needs this yarn.
We have been meticulously planning, prepping and designing for this collection behind the scenes for a few months now and we’re VERY excited to be launching our red carpet, opening night event for all our Countess Ablaze fans. So here we go!
