Countess Ablaze Yarn & Fibre Clubs

March 19, 2014 1 min read

This is the first time Countess Ablaze has done clubs. I've been asked several times to do them but lack of space prevented me. So now I've moved across to the new studio, I have no excuses. There are three clubs to choose from and there's only a couple of spaces left on each one.

Sock Club consists of three skeins of Lady Persephone Sock Yarn (Bluefaced Leicester and nylon), one per month in exclusive colourways available to club members only.

Rustic Club consists of three skeins of hand dyed yarn in fibres that are not superwash treated and in British breed wools. One skein is BFL/Masham DK, one is North Ronaldsay fingering weight and one is Wensleydale DK. There's a wonderful review of the BFL/Masham DK over on the Stitched Together blog. Thanks Chrissy!

Lastly there is Fibre Club which is perfect for spinners and felters. The fibres will be either a straight-up sheep breed or a sheep breed blended with extras such as silk or seacell. The only things I can definitely promise are no mohair, alpaca or superwash wool.

The deadline to register for the clubs is March 27th, 2014 unless the clubs sell out beforehand. You'll receive a skein or braid once a month in April, May and June.

Club subscriptions are only available for three months at a time and space is limited.
