Colourway : Persia | Countess Ablaze

I read Classics and Ancient History at university; the ancient world fascinates me. I particularly love to learn about the interactions between the Greek and Roman worlds with the East.

Turquoise is a mineral mined in various places but notably Iran, previously named Persia. Covering the domes of Iranian palaces, turquoise became known as a symbol of heaven on earth.

This was the first colourway that I dyed to sell back in 2011.
